Eastern Medicine

Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a compass to receive energy from the universe. Energy flows through the needle from the universe to balance qi (energy) in your body.

Acupuncture is an energy therapy. Not only the knowledge and techniques of an acupuncturist but also body conditions, thoughts, beliefs, and willpower of acupuncturists themselves can affect the effectiveness of treatments.

Chinese herbal medicine

Chinese herbal medicine is made of various materials found in plants, animals, insects, and minerals found in nature, and is based on thousands of years of experience and research by Chinese doctors and researchers.

Chinese herbal medicine works immediately on even chronic conditions, as long as you find the right medicine for the symptoms. If you think a Chinese medicine takes time or does not work, you probably don’t have the right medicine.

Because Chinese herbal medicine works more gently than acupuncture, I usually recommend traditional Chinese medicine for infants, the elderly and people with health issues.

Moxibustion

Moxibustion is a heat therapy in which dried plant materials “moxa” are burned on the surface of the skin.

When burned, moxa’s beneficial effect is absorbed into the body through heat and smoke, simulating pathway meridian, improving blood circulation from the body core, and improving body conditions.

Moxibustion is relaxing while healing the body and soul from the core.
