Do you know what lives in your gut, Parasite, Candida or H.Pylori??
Hi
To be honest, it’s been challenging, yet I am enjoying this new journey right now.
It all started with me when I discovered that I was carrying H.pylori in my stomach, despite having no noticeable symptoms.
H. pylori is a bacterium that has been associated with the possibility of causing stomach cancer if left untreated. Interestingly, it is quite prevalent among the Japanese population.
During my time in Japan, I enjoyed the traditional dishes of raw fish through Sushi and Sashimi, which may have contributed to my exposure to this bacterium.
One of the concerns with H.pylori is its ability to spread to the heart and potentially cause heart-related issues. The fact that it spreads via saliva had me worried, as we share meals at home, and I am the primary cook.
I started investigating the health of my family members, starting with my husband.
Although he experiences stomach issues like bloating, indigestion, and post-meal drowsiness, they don’t precisely match H.pylori symptoms. However, he has mentioned digestive weaknesses since I met him, and occasionally he suffers from belching after meals.
My daughter came next, and she has been struggling with gut issues, particularly chronic constipation since infancy. Unfortunately, her constipation has worsened over the last three years, and despite trying various herbs and supplements, we have yet to find a solution.
Then, my son, who has regular bowel movements, raised some questions as he sneezes repeatedly every morning after waking up. Although this is unrelated to H.pylori, I suspect something might be amiss with his mucosa lining, potentially affecting his immune system.
After three weeks of testing, we received the results. It turns out that my daughter has Candida, Parasite, and H.pylori, and my son’s candida marker showed a slight elevation.
Surprisingly, my husband’s results were relatively clean, although he also carries some H.pylori presence.
As a result, we are all now following the appropriate protocols for H.pylori, Candida, and Parasite.
My daughter and son have additional dietary adjustments, including the Candida Cleanse Diet, which eliminates high-glycemic foods such as rice, wheat, beans, root veggies, dairy, and sugar.
Adapting to this diet has been challenging, especially for the children, but we understand the importance of addressing these health issues proactively. As parents, we believe that taking preventive measures is crucial to avoid potential complications in the future.
Our dedication to functional medicine, which focuses on identifying the root cause rather than just treating symptoms, has been reinforced through this experience. We are willing to put in the effort and time to improve our health and well-being.
However, we’ve encountered some challenges with medical insurance, as functional medicine approaches may not always align seamlessly with conventional policies.
Making wise choices to ensure we have coverage for emergencies, we choose healthcare providers who prioritize comprehensive well-being and take the time to delve into the root cause of health issues.
It is our belief that surgeries and medications may not always provide the ideal solution, as they may lead to further complications.
As we firmly advocate for following functional medicinal protocols, we are willing to spend the time and effort that will ultimately lead to true health and long-term wellness.
If you are also having chronic gut and digestive issues, I can provide a tool to find out the root cause. Book a consultation from the below.
